EXPERIMENT IN TERROR (1962)

This entry in the PSYCHO wannabe club is smartly shot in gleaming B&W by Philip Lathrop and meticulously put together by Blake Edwards, but the script uses bread & butter scare tactics while leading man Glenn Ford is well past his smouldering best. Lee Remick does well with some surprising takes on her scenes and Edwards gives all his bit players plenty of moments to shine and startle, but it never adds up to much.
